Georgia Baptist

Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries is a Christian caring ministry of services designed to promote the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of children, youth, and families.  Our foster care program works with families who are interested in opening their homes to children and youth in foster care to make an impact that will last forever.  We work with local churches to support each family through respite, mentors, and volunteers and our staff have smaller caseloads that allow us to provide 24/7 support in times of crisis.  Our families are not required to be Baptist – we ask that they support the tenets of the Baptist faith and live a lifestyle compatible with our beliefs.  We are a Sanctuary-certified agency and provide care and support to our youth and our foster families from a trauma-informed and trauma-responsive perspective to promote healing and a focus on the future.
